Seeking an caring, energetic, quick learning, proactive and reliable individual who is able to multi task as this job consists of wearing several hats working as a lead DSP and also providing direct support to the Executive Director. Must have flexibility with schedule and able to work independently.

A minimum of 6 months experience working with people with disabilities and/or aging. However, we are willing to train the right person.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid Driver’s License
Able to work legally in the United States
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Must have reliable transportation

Job duties include but not limited to: Monitor the person being supported to ensure safety in all aspects of their lives (medical, health, behavioral) and administrative work.

Help implement the person supported Person Centered Plan.
Ensure that person being supported rights and dignity are respected.
Assist the person being supported with their personal care such as; toileting, feeding, showering, grooming, etc.
Drive personal vehicle to transport persons supported to activities, doctor appointments, their families house, etc.
Promote community inclusion, self-determination and self-sufficiency in those being supported through personal interactions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour

4 hour shift
Day shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
On call
Weekends as needed
