Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Must have at least 1 year in experience working at Japanese Restaurant

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Assist with training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.

Skills

Proficient in Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Proven sales abilities with experience in upselling menu items.
Previous fine dining or restaurant experience preferred; nightclub experience is a plus.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
