Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. The Tow Truck Driver will play a crucial role in assisting customers in distress while ensuring the safe transport of their vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to safely transport disabled or damaged vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during stressful situations.
Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
Manage conflicts professionally and calmly when dealing with distressed customers.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and any incidents that occur during operations.
Assist with basic mechanical tasks as needed, leveraging skills in mechanics and automotive knowledge.
Drive safely and responsibly at all times, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; experience driving tow trucks is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively.
Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and basic mechanical repairs is a plus.
Experience operating forklifts is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by the company.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
