Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing therapeutic support to individuals with mental health challenges. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing techniques such as applied behavior analysis and Christian counseling as appropriate.
Manage cases effectively, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support and resources throughout their treatment journey.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.
Facilitate group therapy sessions when applicable, fostering a supportive environment for peer interaction.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent in Dc and/or Maryland
Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
Proficiency in case management and patient assessment techniques.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote therapy sessions.
Knowledge of psychotherapy modalities and their application in clinical settings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
