Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our tree trimming business. The truck is a 2021 FREIGHTLINER BUSINESS CLASS M2 106, with an Altec MT66-E76 Grapple Saw. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the operation of this vehicle and other non specific CDL required vehicles such as dump trucks and bucket trucks. r

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload debris using dump truck.
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Proficient in truck driving techniques including manual transmission operation.

Experience operating various types of trucks such as grapple saw trucks, flatbed, tanker, and dump truck.
Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
