Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled AM Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional kitchen setting, contributing to menu execution and ensuring excellent dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely service during the morning shift
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support menu planning and ingredient prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences
Ensure proper knife skills are utilized for efficient and safe food preparation
Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed

Requirements

Must be available to work from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide, or restaurant setting preferred
Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or catering is a plus
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry best practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during morning hours
Kitchen experience with familiarity in food service operations is desirable
Must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
