Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential technical support and assist in maintaining our computer systems and networks. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various IT issues, ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

Duties

Provide technical support to staff, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
Assist in the management of computer networking, including LAN configurations and firewall settings.
Utilize tools such as Jira for tracking issues and managing tasks effectively.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
Assist in managing network devices, including Meraki equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication regarding IT projects and updates.
Document technical procedures and maintain an inventory of IT resources.

Qualifications

Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
Knowledge of computer networking principles, including LAN setup and firewall management.
Experience with technical support roles or similar positions is preferred.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and provide clear instructions.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
