This position is 100% hybrid (work from home + out in the community to service our individuals in person). Candidate must reside in or near Waldorf, MD due to having to support our clients in that area.

Seeking a very professional, resourceful, and dynamic employment specialist / job coach to support a caseload of individuals with disabilities as they are looking for employment. Employment specialist will be working from home and performing one to one services in person with our individuals. Once placed in employment, employment specialist / job coach will also conduct work site visits to help train the individual while advocating for them at their various places of employment. The employment specialist / job coach creates their own schedule and this role is a remote/ hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

Meet virtually with consumers to complete resumes
Meet virtually with consumers to complete job applications
Meeting virtually with consumers to conduct mock interviews
Attend job fairs with the consumers
Network with local hiring managers in efforts to get consumers placed in employment
Transport consumers to job interviews
Visit consumers on the job site to coach them in their daily work tasks
Complete well written case notes of each session
Complete other required documentation

Successful candidate must have the following

Must have some experience working with people with disabilities. Prior job coaching experience is a HUGE plus.
Must be very detailed oriented
Must be a self starter and problem solver
Must have intermediate Google Drive and Microsoft office experience
Must have excellent organizational skills
Must have excellent time management skills
Must be trustworthy
Must have reliable transportation
Must have HS Diploma
Must have good writing skills.

Pay is $20/ hour

4 productivity bonuses:

Performance bonuses include:

1. Weekly bonus for exceeding number of client sessions

2. Placement bonus when client employment is achieved

3. Retention bonus when staffed client reaches their 90 days employed

4. Quarterly performance bonus
