Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by assisting with various tasks on-site and in the office. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn about the construction industry while utilizing their organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and organization of construction sites, ensuring all materials and tools are readily available.
Support project managers and supervisors with administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timelines and material usage.
Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
Perform basic office management duties such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and greeting visitors at the front desk.
Utilize QuickBooks or similar software for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Employ time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

Familiarity with data entry processes and computer systems is essential.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication is key in this role.
Strong phone etiquette is necessary for handling inquiries from clients and vendors.
A background in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued.
