Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with drivers and warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

Assist drivers in loading and unloading furniture from delivery vehicles.
Ensure that all furniture are delivered accurately and on time.
Help navigate delivery routes while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare items for delivery.
Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as needed.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus for understanding logistics operations.
Familiarity with commercial driving, including experience with box trucks or similar vehicles.
Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous.
Proficient in driving, including manual transmission vehicles if required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
