Maintenance Technician
Location: Gaithersburg, MD 20878
Contract: 3 months
Pay: $28/hr (W2)

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment within a cGMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic components, and valves.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
Inspect, test, and document work in compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards
Monitor BMS/EMS systems and contractor activities for safety compliance
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices to diagnose issues
Follow SOPs and LOTO procedures for safe operations

Qualifications:

High school diploma
Experience in a similar industrial/production facility environment
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Forklift experience or willingness to be trained

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 per hour
