Job Description

Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of Information Technology (IT) systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments. Systems include Microsoft (MS) servers, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT platforms. Duties also encompass servicing hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.

Key responsibilities:

Integrate and manage multiple Information Systems (IS) within a networked environment
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer IS issues
Perform hardware upgrades and repairs to sustain mission-critical operations
Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and transmission media
Deploy and maintain server hardware/software and ensure proper configuration of workstations for optimal network performance
Install, optimize, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN)

Requirements

Certification: CompTIA Security+
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
