Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques, as well as the ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment and instruments for procedures.
Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and interventions.
Ensure a sterile environment by following aseptic techniques.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure.
Document procedures accurately in accordance with medical protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the procedure room.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients about the procedure, addressing any concerns or questions.

Requirements

Proficient knowledge of medical imaging techniques related to endoscopy.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique and its application in clinical settings.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to gastrointestinal anatomy and procedures.
Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnostic evaluations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
Previous experience in an endoscopy is required.
