Restorative Health & Wellness is seeking a full-time medical receptionist to join our team. RHW is a small, woman-owned, specialized integrative medicine practice that focuses on the treatment of Lyme disease and chronic illness. The ideal candidate for this position will act as our receptionist and administrative assistant to help keep the office running smoothly and ensure that patient needs are met. We are looking for someone who is caring, friendly, well-organized, detail-oriented, helpful, and possesses excellent communication and customer service skills.

Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and managing check in/check out procedures
Assist patients in scheduling appointments
Collect patient payments
Entering and updating patient information prior to each visit
Making sure charts are up to date prior to appointments with the appropriate forms, insurance information, and demographic information
Answering phone calls and emails from patients
Scanning information into EMR as needed
Reviewing incoming faxes and assigning them to the appropriate provider
Assist in submitting prior authorizations
Be willing to help collect vital signs during check in process if other staff members are absent
Check office mailbox
Maintain a clean and organized front desk space
Maintain cleanliness of waiting room

Receptionist Qualifications:

High school diploma
Certified medical assistant
Experience with EMR
Experience with clinical office
Experience with prior authorizations
Knowledge of google workspace products

Description:

Job type: full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Hours: 8:15am-4:15pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $18-20 per hour
Benefits (applicable after a 90 day probationary period): Health insurance, accruable PTO up to 13 days, sick leave
Location: In-person, though some flexibility for remote work if all patients for the day have virtual appointments

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
