We’re looking for a talented and driven Interior Design Partner Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a commission-based position with no cold-calling—our longstanding presence in the community means a steady stream of high-quality leads. You'll be matched with independent interior designers, architects, and builders who have come to rely on Rockville Interiors as their go-to source for executing their design vision for high-end clients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-home and in-showroom design consultations with interior designers, architects, builders, and their clients and close profitable sales
Guide clients through fabric selection for reupholstery, bedding, and window treatments
Become product experts for branded window treatments we sell including Lutron and Hunter Douglas
Build and nurture client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
Generate proposals, process orders, and manage project timelines with attention to detail
Collaborate with our workroom and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain accurate records and follow-ups in our sales and project management systems
Stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced, design-focused environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in luxury goods, design, or home-related industries
Passion for interior design—formal training is a plus but not required
Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communication style
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed for client appointments
