Join a leader in the shooting sports industry! Silver Eagle Group has a specialized firearms training and retail center conveniently located in Ashburn, VA. We have an immediate need for full-time and part-time Merchandise Associates.

Merchandise employees are responsible for completing all transactions involving SEG merchandise and any services that SEG offers to members or the public; to include (but not limited to): rentals, private instruction, transfers, firearms sales, ammunition, all merchandise on the sales floor, etc.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Must be able to learn and operate the point of sale program in CSI.
Complete all transactions accurately and ensure all monetary exchange is correct.
Will be responsible for POS Reconciliation at the close of business every day.
Involves counting all monies in drawer and removing deposit amount.
Also, must make sure that drawer has correct bank amount after taking deposit monies out.
Will make sure the correct bank amount is in drawer before any transactions are performed.
Have basic knowledge of firearms and firearms safety.
Must be able to assist customers in such capacity as recommending firearms for rental and instructing the customer on basic functions of each firearm and its safety features.
Must have a strong understanding of ATF and state regulations involving the sale and rental of firearms and ammunition, and in correspondence with SEG policy regarding both.
Keep merchandise area clean and organized at all times.
Provide excellent customer service while performing all duties.
Based on interaction with customers, associate assists the retail supervisor by suggesting new merchandise that may be popular among guests.
Assist retail supervisor in opening and closing procedures.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma (or GED)
Relevant experience in customer service is preferred
Strong knowledge and understanding of weapons systems and ammunition
Computer literacy
Willingness to work in a team structure and environment.
Professional demeanor and appearance
Must be a team player with strong multi-tasking skills
Work attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position
Due to the nature of this work and position, weekend, evening, and holiday work is required. This is not a Monday-Friday, 9-5 job.
