Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are an inclusive, sex positive psychotherapy practice with a commitment to social justice that also offers education for clinicians and coaching around sexuality. We are looking for someone with the following skills:

Able to come into the Alexandria VA office at least once per week.
Demonstrated ability to self-manage tasks and projects– setting timelines, creating tracking systems, generally well-organized and self-directed
Familiarity with Google suite of tools, ideally including Google Admin dashboard for creating and managing email accounts and email distros as well as managing items flagged as spam
Good customer service skills, particularly in clear and friendly email communication style, for responding to inquiries and resolving issues
Data management skills and comfort with spreadsheets/data analysis
Familiarity with social media management, bonus if you are familiar with a SM management tool like Hubspot or Social Champ (note this is JUST management in the sense of being able to set up and schedule posts)
Familiarity with WordPress or similar website management; ability to make simple updates to pages, create events, put up blog posts, etc.
Basic financial management skills for tracking expenses. Use of quickbooks online would be helpful
Comfort level working in a space where things like sexuality and kink are discussed much more freely than your average workplace
Understanding of HIPAA and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. A HIPAA training will be required
Experience planning and helping facilitate meetings– creating and sharing agendas, sending out calendar invites, scheduling the Zoom room, taking notes or sharing follow-up items
Ability to learn payroll system and run payroll biweekly.

Qualifications

Interest in sex education or sex therapy is preferred.
Familiarity with the LGBTQIA community, kink community, ethical non-monogamy and other sub populations is preferred
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Previous experience in an office or clerical setting is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
