Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and hospital medicine departments.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care activities
- Perform basic life support procedures when necessary
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in medical-surgical settings
- Handle outpatient and emergency medicine tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
- Proficiency in medication administration protocols
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
