Come and join our team as a Radiology Tech Assistant for a full-time position at our outpatient imaging center located in Washington, DC.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. This role will work side-by-side with our Mammography Team.
Lafayette Centre is looking for a Medical Assistant or tech aide who has medical experience preferably in Mammography or Radiology. The applicant will support the Radiologists and Mammographers on a daily basis by assisting with biopsies, communicating with referring physicians, reviewing schedules, and performing admin tasks for the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.
EDUCATION:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
