We call our permanent jewelry styles Lovewelds™. The Loveweld™ collection offers custom bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and rings in solid 14k yellow or white gold. Who you are:
Your role as a Lovewelder is to cultivate a unique and welcoming experience with clients both in the studio and at our events. You will welcome customers, guide them through their selection of a chain and optional charms, fit their selection to their wrist, ankle, neck or finger and weld the chain on them using a micro welding machine. You will provide exceptional customer service by providing necessary information on products and processes. You will also be expected to communicate clearly and efficiently, and be a team player. You must be good with your hands. Retail experience is preferred, but not required. Good eye / hand coordination is required to perform the tasks associated with this position.
What you will do:
Welding:
- Weld 14k gold custom bracelets, anklets, and necklaces on clients
Sales
- Ensure the delivery of memorable and remarkable customer experiences
- Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of our product
- Educate customer on product options and pricing
- Weld 14k gold custom bracelets, anklets, and necklaces on clients
- Use POS system correctly
- Communicate any needs/concerns to proper channels
- Execute in-studio and travel events that are assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Studio Operations
- Keep studio clean and organized
- Maintain excellent communication through answering phone/email/texts for studio lines in a timely manner while working
- Ensure that all product is put away safely at the end of a shift
- Perform duties related to opening and/or closing the store
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
$17 per hour + 7.5% commission
Commission is calculated based on your individual total sales.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of availability for 20 hours per week; must be available for weekend shifts. Shift lengths may vary depending on studio needs.
- Excellent customer service
- You are responsible, a problem solver, detail-oriented and process driven
Preferred Skills:
- You have 1+ years of retail or hospitality experience
- You have an eye for style and are up-to-date on jewelry and permanent jewelry trends (or want to learn!)
