Bilingual Immigration Paralegal – Falls Church, VA

The Northern Virginia Immigration Law Firm is a well-established and growing immigration law firm in Falls Church, VA. We are seeking a full-time on-site Spanish/English bilingual paralegal/law clerk to help grow our firm. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with basic computer skills, is technologically inclined, and motivated to learn internal office protocols.

Our Firm mostly handles removal (deportation) defense, citizenship and adjustment of status applications, affirmative asylum cases, family petitions/waivers/Consular Processing, and custody matters for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

Responsibilities:

Onboard new clients into the Firm based on acceptance of proposals for service
Coordinate, prepare, and finalize immigration petitions and forms
Monitor and ensure compliance with immigration regulations
Monitor billing and payments
Answering the phones and coordinate client questions/concerns
Assist attorneys and existing staff with casework and general administrative duties

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Business Suite, and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in both Spanish and English to translate for attorneys and clients
Must have driver’s license and vehicle
Bachelor's degree or previous experience in legal field is desired, but not required
