B&B Italia DC looking for a Retail sales associate with Sales experience in the furniture industry.

Duties and Responsibilities Sales Associate
Each salesperson’s main duties consist of working diligently to achieve monthly and annual sales goals. Along with this, they are expected to be the front line of educating the clients on our products and offering the level of service that is required from B&B Italia and the high-end clientele we work with. This service should extend through all parts of the relationship with the client from the genesis of the project to after they’ve received their order.
- Work passionately to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
- Assist in all aspects of daily showroom operation including helping to maintain appearance of the showroom
- Develop and nurture relationships with designers through library maintenance, outside presentations, emails, etc. A minimum of eight outside presentations are to be made per month to A&D
- Work to develop new clients by outreach to the A&D, developers, and other outlets to build and expand client base
- Work closely with both end users and designers in all aspects of the purchase from initial design, fabric and finish selections, to order tracking, delivery coordination, and follow-up after installation
- Maintain and build a client mailing list for both design firms as well as end user clients
- Job will require working on Saturdays as well as the occasional after-hours event
- Visit job sites/residences with clients to assist with layout, measurements, and furniture selection as well as final installation
- Maintain professional personal appearance and adhere to company dress code
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
