Job Overview:

Planet Express Logistics seeks motivated, reliable, and experienced over-the-road (OTR) driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in commercial driving, moving, heavy lifting, and providing excellent customer service. Experience with box trucks, liftgates, pallet jacks, straps, and making timely deliveries are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport general goods to various local and out-of-state locations
Manage delivery related documentation such as Bill of Lading
Provide timely updates throughout travel
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment for efficient movement of goods
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Qualifications:

USDOT Medical Card/Certificate
Clean driving record pulled within the last 30 days
Valid driver's license
A smartphone with a camera not older than 5 years
Proven experience as an Over-The-Road (OTR) driver or similar role
Ability to lift heavy objects (50-100lbs.) and perform physical tasks
Excellent communication skills and a professional customer-oriented approach
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules
Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Random Drug Tests
REQUIRED : 1+ years of experience driving a commercial (box truck or similar) vehicle
