Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system (Aloha POS preferred).
- Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate an upscale service during special occasions.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the bar area while promoting responsible alcohol consumption.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in the food industry.
- Strong sales skills to promote drink specials and increase overall bar revenue.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems, particularly TOAST POS.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations, especially during peak hours in nightclubs or busy venues.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications related to bartending or alcohol service.
- Preferably someone who worked at a high-end bar for at least 1 year.
