Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OWNER OPERATOR Truck Driver to join our team. We dispatch 20+ trucks and provide great results for our operators. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbeds, box trucks, and dump trucks. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to designated locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker, refrigerated trailers, roll-off trucks, box trucks and flatbeds.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws during route driving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, securing it properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific truck types.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to truck driving.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Or NON-CDL for box trucks.
- Familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, box trucks, and .
- or refrigerated trailer operations is a plus.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
