Summary

Under the supervision of the Case Manager, provides assistance and support to the Case Managers/Supervisors regarding all Autism Waiver services to all participants. This includes, but not limited to, collating data for finalizing the staff supervision, review submitted contact logs, ensure compliance, staff training on completion of contact logs; managing monthly parents feedback process

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field or related field preferred
At least Three (3) years of experience with program implementation in a day program, school setting or camp
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
At least two (2) years of experience or training in providing services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities

Experience relevant to:

✓ providing staff supervision

✓ program implementation to individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities

Knowledge of positive behavioral supports; experience in developing behavioral programs

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of COMAR
Receive and follow up on service requests and new referrals
Client Intake Planning Process
Interviewing staff and providing deployment training
Assist in the creation of treatment plans
Provide staff supervision
Report incidences

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
Skill in the use of common computer programs and office machines, including Microsoft Office, Publisher, Power Point, and Excel
Professional appearance at all times
Must be organized, creative and efficient in overseeing, delegating and managing multiple activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective Planning/Organization skill
Excellent customer service skills are necessary, including the ability to work with families
CPR/First Aid
Negative TB Test Result
Criminal (FBI & State) background clearance
CPS Background Clearance
