Position Description Summary:
The Department of Sociology at George Washington University seeks a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology in our Human Services & Social Justice Program in Spring 2026.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three courses. Assigned courses may include Introduction to Human Services & Social Justice and Social Change and Public Policy. Assigned courses may include service-learning components.
Minimum Qualifications:
By the date of appointment, applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in sociology, social work, or a closely related field.

32,500.00
