Restaurant Server (NON SEASONAL) (Must be 21 years of age or older) to join our team. As a bartender, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties-
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including cocktails, wines, and beers, as well as food offerings to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service laws.
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system- Provide recommendations, upsell menu items, and answer customer inquiries- Maintain cleanliness in the bar are.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for establishments that serve craft beers or specialty drinks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for the hospitality industry with a willingness to learn new skills in mixology and beverage preparation.
