Looking for smart, personable individuals with prior retail experience.
A part-time Retail Wine Sales Associate is needed for a specialty wine and food store. Prior experience in the food/wine or hospitality industry is preferable. Responsibilities include discussing and selling retail wine and prepared food products, ringing customers at the register, and working private wine/food events like wine tastings. Great opportunity for part-time work for professionals working in the non-profit sector or graduate students who have a love and knowledge of wine and food.
In this role, you will provide an inviting environment for customers, and drive sales. The role will include being a cashier, stock, and sales person. You will report to the store manager and owners.
What We're Looking For:
18 years of age or older (21+ preferred)
Ability to work Saturday and Sundays.
Wine and spirits experience in a retail sales environment is preferred. An interest in wine and beer is a great start! (WSET, CMS Sommelier, or other industry certification is a plus)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and be on feet for 5-8 hours a day"
