Kusshi has 8 restaurants throughout the DC, MD, and Virginia area. We are eager to create opportunities for growth but are humbled and appreciative of any dedicated hospitality agents that are looking for new experiences.
Average Restaurant Bar Stats:
- 13 Seat Bar (18 cover high top area);
- 14 Featured Cocktails
- Rotating Sake List
- 1 year of experience mandatory; 2-3 years experience preferred
- Average Sales - $2000 on weekdays; $4-5000 on weekends
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Past bar experience mandatory
- Background knowledge of classic cocktails preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, and providing excellent service
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate well with others
- Must have a drivers license
- Responsibly serve alcohol abiding by adhering to all laws and policies
- Memorize signature and classic cocktails recipes
- Assist with preparing syrups and house batches for the bar
- Keep a clean and organized bar space
- Complete side-work tasks as needed during opening and closing as well as throughout the shift
- Build connections with guests and provide excellent customer service
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Describe menu items and give suggestions when needed
- Be able to accommodate customers dietary restrictions/allergies effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
