Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and packaging products in compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations to ensure product quality and safety. The Packager will work in a warehouse environment, utilizing hand tools and mechanical knowledge to efficiently complete packaging tasks.
Duties
- Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as per specifications.
- Operate hand tools and machinery to package products securely.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP and FDA regulations throughout the packaging process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Monitor production lines for quality assurance, reporting any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the warehouse environment.
- Utilize logic controllers for automated packaging processes when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with forklifts is a plus; certification may be required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift packages, and perform repetitive tasks.
