Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Aesthetic Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role within an aesthetic or medical practice. This position is vital to ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for aesthetic procedures, including taking medical histories, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
Assisting with Procedures:Assist the medical professionals during aesthetic treatments such as laser therapy, injectables, chemical peels, and other non-surgical procedures. Ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Patient Education: Educate patients about pre- and post-treatment care, explaining procedures and answering any questions to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the process.
Clinical Support: Perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering medications, and applying dressings or bandages as required.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage medical supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and properly stored.
Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment details, and outcomes in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and sanitized according to safety standards.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with patients to enhance their overall experience.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other medical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in an aesthetic or dermatology practice.
- Strong knowledge of aesthetic treatments, procedures, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employement drug screen
-Ability to arrive at work no later than 8:30 am daily
