Position: Kitchen Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and supporting our chefs during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. We are a fast paced operation and need someone who can work under pressure and fast. This is a part time position that may lead to full time if desired.
- Hours Wednesday - Friday 2:00pm -7:30pm and Saturday 9 am -3PM
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the make table and other kitchen areas are always cleaned, sanitized, and fully stocked
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner prep and service
- Assemble plates to ensure they are correctly portioned and beautifully presented before leaving the kitchen
- Support the team with cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and general organization
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide assistance to chefs and other kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required – we are willing to train the right person
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Hours Wednesday - Friday 2:00pm -7:30pm and Saturday 9 am -3PM
