Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated EXPERIENCED bartenders to join our team here at a new Mexican restaurant in Washington, DC.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Make margaritas and other signature cocktails
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and entryways.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
- Assist with special events or private functions as needed.
Experience
- 4 years minimum experience as a bartender is
- required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for food and beverage service, along with a desire to learn about menu offerings.
