We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Ensure tables are properly set up with utensils, condiments, and other necessary items
- Clear tables and clean up after guests
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Fulfill assigned side work
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Bartending knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with Greek cuisine is a plus
- Greek culture and and language fluency is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations and practices
