We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling guidelines.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing bar service for special occasions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.87 - $25.14 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
