Overtime Eligible: NoPosition SummaryThe Human Services Specialist IV will provide community health education and outreach services with a focus on HIV and STI prevention. This role includes facilitating access to care, providing point-of-care HIV/Syphilis testing and counseling, and supporting individuals at risk through evidence-based interventions. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Key ResponsibilitiesRequired QualificationsStaffing Details
- Conduct community health education and outreach initiatives to promote HIV/STI prevention.
- Provide point-of-care HIV and Syphilis testing and counseling in community settings.
- Assess client risk behaviors and facilitate initiation of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for eligible clients.
- Lead both individual-level and group-level interventions related to HIV/STI prevention and treatment.
- Accurately document, track, and report outreach and intervention activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Spanish (required).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
- Prior experience in health outreach, case management, or human services preferred.
