A Cat Clinic in Boyds/Germantown, MD area is seeking hard working individual to fill a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant position, open to making it a full-time position for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Feeding, medicating, and maintaining housing for cats in our medical boarding facility.
- Daily cleaning & maintenance tasks around the hospital
- Assisting the Veterinarians and Technicians with patient care and diagnostic sampling.
Hours available are 7:30am-1:00pm, and 1:00pm-6:15pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Experience in a veterinary hospital and/or boarding facility is preferred, but not required. Candidates must be 18 years or older to assist with taking x-rays. This is a great opportunity for those seeking to get beginner experience in veterinary medicine, with opportunities for growth and advancement into technician and reception positions if desired.
