Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate and Driver, Construction Manufacturing will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as driving company vehicles, including forklift and flatbed trucks, to transport materials to job sites. This role requires strong organizational skills, a valid Maryland Commercial driver's license, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Job ResponsibilitiesDuties:
Warehouse Operations
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring that they meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Forklift operation for loading and unloading materials on the truck
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, including proper storage and labeling of materials.
- Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy in quantities and specifications.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Driving Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to construction sites and clients as needed.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and safe manner, following established routes and schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including materials transported and any issues encountered.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to coordinate material needs and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and construction teams regarding inventory levels and delivery requirements.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials at job sites, ensuring safe handling and storage.
