- Busy Orthopedics practice is looking for a Full Time, Medical Assistant, to provide assistance to our highly skilled team of Clinicians. The Medical Assistant will perform direct and indirect patient care as assigned by our licensed Clinician staff. The position is a "Floater" Position. Rotating schedule between our Waldorf and Clinton, MD clinic locations.
Some responsibilities include -
- Provide assistance to MD and PA with basic triage, assist in the monitoring of patient reactions to treatment, and communicate adverse reactions immediately to the appropriate person.
- Maintain patient documentation, notes and follow up.
- Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels on a daily basis, inspect, sterilize, and maintain/clean equipment in accordance with clinics standards.
- Be able to cross train and provide front office support.
- Participate in any other designated projects or roles as directed by the Clinician staff.

Some Medical Assistant Requirements -
- High School or higher level of education
- Be available Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6 PM
- Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish is required.
- CPR certified
- Have strong written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- 1 Year of Medical Assistant experience required, training will also be provided.
- Must own a vehicle for commuting between clinic locations.
