As an Medical Office Assistant for Primary Care, you'll:
- Provide excellent customer service to our patients in Primary Care at Sibley Memorial Hospital
- Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.
- Check patients in and out.
- Verify insurance, collect demographics, and collect co-pays.
- Be responsible for assisting the practice with quality metrics and patient outreach.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
- EPIC experience is very helpful!
- Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.
About us:
Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 28.26/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
