INSIDE MOVING SALES CONSULTANT | RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL SALES
Star Moving Solutions is a growing and quality oriented moving company in the Washington Metropolitan Area. STAR has been providing excellent service and quality for over nearly 27 years. STAR is an interstate agent for Bekins Van Lines, serving both residential and commercial markets. STAR performs requirements under various contracts with large corporations; as well as U.S. D.O.D, U.S. AID Companies, and numerous Sub-Contractors working with the U.S. Government. We provide moving services for local, Interstate, international and office moves.
Star Moving Solutions is currently seeking a Inside Moving Sales Consultant for our Dulles, VA office.
This position is responsible for conducting Virtual Surveys with our clients moving locally, across state lines, and internationally. Sales consultants are provided prospective client appointments and are given company paid leads. This role will assist with scheduling appointments for outside consultants. . Also, for developing and promoting STAR with homeowners, renters, realtors, and other revenue generators for moving opportunities and relationships.
This position includes: Base Salary + Commission + Bonuses – NO LIMITS ON COMPENSATION
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs on-time, accurate surveys, with written estimates to prospective customers who are planning on moving locally, Interstate, or Internationally.
- Adheres to company pricing guidelines and standards.
- Offers company services throughout assigned territory and builds a referral portfolio by attending networking meeting/events.
- Continually develops, creates, and manages a robust sales pipeline, which includes involvement in lead development through a CRM System.
- Submits paperwork in a completed and timely manner to the assigned moving coordinator and consistently works alongside the coordinator to help support service needs, answer questions, or resolve issues throughout the relocation process.
- Remains in contact with the customers to help deliver exceptional services and to provide each customer with total satisfaction. Drives for retaining a 5-star review from every client after the completion of their move.
- Meets performance standards and goal objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior sale experience
-High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Driver’s License and vehicle to use during working hours
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Customer Service Databases
- Detailed oriented with excellent communication skills & presentation capabilities
- High Energy, positive attitude with a strong work ethic, able to work in a team environment
- Professionals who are self-motivated with the ability to produce.
- The ability to prospect new clients and lines of business – willing to cold-call
- Must be respectful, honest, and disciplined
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year + Commission + Bonus
Required Experience: 1 year of sales experience
*Starting salary is based on experience and industry knowledge
