Mental Health Professional (School-Based)

Position Summary:
The Mental Health Professional will provide a range of therapeutic and case management services to assigned clients within the Jacksonville Middle and High School setting. Services include Intake Assessment, Treatment Planning, Individual/Family/Group Therapy, Psychoeducation, Crisis Intervention, and Crisis Stabilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct mental health services including assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Deliver services at approved locations as determined by clinical need.
- Monitor caseload daily through the MHP Caseload Compliance Report (Credible) and maintain timely, accurate documentation.
- Complete treatment plans every 180 days.
- Submit all documentation required by Managed Care and/or private insurance for reimbursement approval.
- Complete daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports by the next calendar day, per Policy 4-4 “Contemporaneous Documentation.”
- Provide required reports to DCFS, legal systems, and other agencies as needed.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and Families, Inc. Privacy Practices.
- Attend monthly clinic meetings and medical staffings (maintaining 90% compliance).
- Provide QBHP supervision and observation as outlined by policy.
- Testify in court as required.
- Maintain an active Arkansas license as an LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC, LAMFT, or LMFT.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Must be licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas.
Job Skills:
- Required: Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA guidelines, and deliver services effectively and ethically to clients, families, and professionals. Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Preferred: Strong computer proficiency, excellent spelling and grammar, and strong organizational skills.
