Job Title: Help Desk Technician
Reports to: Service and Operations Manager
Salary: Salary competitive and commensurate with experience. Paid overtime, group health insurance, 10 days PTO, 401K match after first year.
This position is based in our Mission Hills office and local travel to customer locations is required. This is not a remote position.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Antropy, Inc., a boutique LA-based outsourced IT services firm, has an opening for a Help Desk Technician. Antropy, founded in 2001, provides complete IT services for small business without in-house IT staff and provides consulting services, expertise, and project support to larger organizations.
The Help Desk Technician will contribute to the success of Antropy by reducing the Level 1 support tickets handled by senior technicians by 30% by the end of their first year. The Help Desk Technician will be trained to support all aspects of user administration in Windows and Office 365 environments and Windows PC deployments.
Candidate must be customer service oriented and strive to provide robust IT solutions; simply making it work is not the end goal. Candidate must be punctual, carry themselves in a professional manner, and be committed to upholding the company’s stellar reputation by exceeding customer expectations. The ideal candidate would have experience providing desktop (Windows and Mac) support in either a small business, non-profit or education setting.
While this is a technical position, soft skills will differentiate successful candidates from the crowd.

- Experience supporting and configuring smart phones in an enterprise environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Macintosh OSX helpful
- The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Ability to manage work assignments for multiple clients.
- CompTia A+ or other industry certifications are a bonus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
As required by law. This position requires local travel. A reliable vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required. Must be authorized to work in the U.S and pass a background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. individually or 100 lbs. with another person.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
