Job description:

We are an agile and growing IT-focused eCommerce business in Falls Church, VA. We are looking for a motivated and creative individual ready to learn in a technology-oriented environment. Great opening for entry-level experience in the IT field, or anyone looking to develop their marketing and merchandising skills. We also welcome individuals seeking to learn and develop knowledge of electronics hardware or online sales practices. Will have the opportunity to learn about and gain hands-on experience with a diverse array of computer and server hardware.

Note: In-person interview typically required.

Job Duties (full time, in-person) –

Research a wide variety of items to determine their value and market demand
Perform basic functionality testing
Formulate and improve titles, descriptions, and prices for researched items
Photograph items with a focus on product appeal and presentation
Power test electronics and verify diagnostic criteria
Remove data containing media (hard drives, SSDs, etc.) from consumer electronics (desktops, laptops, etc.)
Verify accuracy of device specifications and perform simple data entry/analytics tasks
Disassemble faulted devices and collect components (RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.)

Demonstrate leadership and ownership in project work
Ability to manage priorities effectively and ask others for input when needed
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both interpersonally and in written communication
Eager to learn
Knowledge or experience with Digital SLR photography and basic processing techniques is a bonus.
Knowledge and/or experience in IT or technology-related fields are welcomed but not required.
Official or unofficial work experience is permitted and will be considered; we take into account not just employment-related experience and skills
Regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
Remain standing for long periods of time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (Flexible, as agreed upon)
