Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing supplies for cooking
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to adhere to food safety standards
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions provided by senior kitchen staff
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers according to health regulations
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic culinary practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
