Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Exterior Maintenance Technician to support the overall appearance and cleanliness of the exterior areas of our property. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, clean, and well-maintained environment for tenants and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and upkeep across the property’s outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily walk-throughs of the property to identify and address exterior cleanliness needs.
- Pick up litter and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and other outdoor areas.
- Empty and replace liners in exterior trash cans and receptacles.
- Use pressure washer equipment to clean sidewalks, exterior walls, entryways, and other high-traffic areas as needed.
- Perform basic painting and touch-up tasks on exterior surfaces, railings, curbs, and other areas as directed.
- Report any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf blowing, snow removal (if applicable), or de-icing walkways.
- Maintain and store all equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly manner.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in exterior cleaning or property maintenance is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the property.
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality work.
Work Environment:
This position requires frequent outdoor work in various weather conditions. Appropriate safety gear and training will be provided.
