Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain knowledge of store products to provide effective product demos and recommendations.
Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing.
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution.
Support the supervision of junior staff members, providing guidance as needed.
Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately with attention to detail.
Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Basic knowledge of retail math concepts to assist in daily operations.
