This position is responsible for fabrication of dimension granite on our 5-axis CNC machines. You will need a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Loading and unloading granite slabs onto CNC tables using an overhead crane or manually.
- Programming and operation of multiple 5-axis CNCs.
- Keeping production records for CNCs.
- Providing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machines if a problem arises.
- Cleaning machines.
- Meeting production targets and schedules and meeting and exceeding quality control guidelines.
- Operating in a safe environment according to established company guidelines.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a responsible person.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Knowledge of setting up operating a CNC machine.
- Ability to learn new CNC machining skills.
- Good computer literacy
- Math skills including the ability add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and feed rates.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
