Sign of the Buck is a restaurant and bar located in the heart of historic Gettysburg, occupying the first floor of the historic Union Hotel.
We are seeking a part-time enthusiastic and creative individuals who can interact skillfully, friendly, engaged, and informed with our patrons.
Bartender: $3-$5/hour + Tips
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
- 2+ years bartending experience, with a passion for wine, beer, craft and classic cocktails
- Flexible availability
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and engaged, with the desire and ability to work as part of a team
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, craft cocktails, beer, and cider
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Maintain uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards and requirements
- Ensure equipment is used safely and cleaned and maintained properly
- Adhere to daily and weekly deep-clean schedule
- Operate with a positive attitude and interact with staff respectfully; lead by example to set and maintain a high level of standards for dining excellence and mutual trust among fellow staff
Preferences:
- RAMP certification
- Familiarity with the Toast point of sales system
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $3.00 - $5.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
